Planning on transporting our vehicle from NJ to TV, for the first time, around the end of September. Does anyone have any information of which auto transport company was used, which ones not to use? Any information and useful hints will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Be sure to find out if you are dealing with a broker that has to find a carrier or the actual carrier.
Be sure you know the procedure for loading and unloading the auto (do you have to be present)
Have you considered the auto train? Leaves from the Wash DC area.

The least expensive is to use the Amtrak autotrain, last time we looked into this about $250 for the car and $250 coach for you, drive to Lorton VA get on train, around 9 am the next morning arrive at Sanford FL, about 1.5 hours from TV.
