Default Verizon service

I just closed on a house in LaBelle South 🙂🙂🍾🍾 but I am unable to use my phone inside of my home. Has anyone experience this issue? Thanks for your feedback?

Sadly, this is a common problem with all cell phones here. Something to do with metal strurts, I think. Most of us have learned to just move around to find the right spot or go on the lanai whenever on the phone. An inconvenience, but nothing to write home about.

Call Verizon, or go to one of the local stores and request a FREE micro cell, this will help with the problem you are having.
Hope this helps.

I've lived here for 12 years just south of 466. Verizon has been my only cell carrier in that time. I live in a concrete home with a radiant barrier. Have never, never had a problem with calls inside the home. Have had several cell phones, flip phone to my current iPhone. Never a problem, but wonder if it could be your phone?

Lightbulb Just Suggestion

Without getting into the subject of Verizon Cell Phone problems in The Villages I would suggest that if you go to a Verizon Store in or near the Villages you ensure it is a "Corporate Store" as opposed to a Franchise Store. There is a big difference in potential handling of your problem. If you go for a Micro Cell unit it may be worthwhile to ensure the price is either free or a very deep discount off of the suggested retail price.

We are just north of 466 and have also been here in excess of 12 years with ZERO problems with Verizon service - inside or out. Here is info for the local company store: Address: 870 N Us Highway 441 / Lady Lake, Florida 32159 - Phone: (352)350-2861

Cool Verizon can now use your WiFi

For those of you that have an iPhone with iOS 9.3, you are now able to use WiFi calling. It means that if your cellular connection isn't that good, your phone will connect to your WiFi network for calls. This is the same functionality as the micro-cell, as earlier described.

This is a new feature of the Verizon network and the Apple iPhones. The iPhone will automatically switch between cellular and WiFi, based upon the signal received.

This is a setting in your settings app on the iPhone.

My experience with my Verizon phone, is that it works fine with good signal strength in my home in Sunset Pointe and also when I go down to Brownwood. Unfortunately, I do have problems when up at Spanish Springs. Very weak signal strength, and sometimes cannot connect.

I agree with the Spanish Springs area, it is almost impossible to use a Verizon phone inside the bowling alley.

We live close to Cane Garden country club and we have Verizon service. We have no problems with it. There is an App for your phone called Root that will tell you the best service for your area. You have to download it from the I-tunes app store or from Google play
