It seems like the house had sold quite a few times in a relatively short amount of time.
I'm guessing the new owner could have the home painted for free. As one poster stated...everyone in the neighborhood hated the color. As the new owner, I'd host a block party, and as each neighbor arrived, I'd hand them a paint brush and bucket of paint!

Default Yellow?

I see this as yellow,,, maybe I my colors are off !?!?!? Btw what is a garden tub?
This just goes to show no matter how goofy u are, if u have the $$ You can get things done ur way!! I would offer 175,000 and let my offer stand ,,,, when the contract with TV runs out ,, the seller is going to realize he has a red-headed step-child property,, and bail out like the capt on titantic!

Default Very Blue House

That house was reprinted about a month ago. Now it is a nine pale yellow house.

Wow, what a difference over the very blue it was before. I guess someone convinced the owner that this investment in paint would help sell the house.

It amazes me when watching HGTV where couples looking to spend 500+K on a house immediately dislike a house because of paint colors or light fixtures...things that are cheap and easy to fix.

I guess since the house was painted this thread has lost its local 'color'!

Default Blue to yellow house

The blue house indeed a pretty shade of yellow. The painter did such an excellent job that he is now painting my house and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. He calls himself '"the picky painter" and he certainly is. He does not do the "the spray and go technique" but uses brush and roller. His detail work is meticulous. Not fast but extremely careful of landscaping, etc. He is also very trustworthy and pleasant to have around. As an added bonus-his wife sends homemade cookies.
As to the "blue house"- looks good except for the obviously fake plastic flowers that the Village realtor stuck in the ground. It has an unusual interior layout for a Lantana, which is what I have.
The painter is reasonable in his price and much better than most. He does everything himself and does't use a crew.

The painter did a very good job indeed. You should post his information for the people who need their homes painted.

I do hope the house sells now and thanks for the update.
