I think I can top that. We had been to TV for two short visits. Back home ini MI, we looked everyday, day after day for a new Bonifay. Rented a CYV for a couple weeks the beginning of April to look in person. One morning I got up, told my husband we should buy a Bonifay we'd been looking at on TV website. It was totally furnished, and everything was our style...I think our realtor thought we were nuts! Sent the money down and we closed on April 5th. Bought the house sight unseen and have no regrets. Love it!

Mom and I can beat that too! We were at our condo on St. Augustine Beach and decided to drive over to TV for 2 days! Mom hadn't even heard of TV and I had only heard about it! We put a down payment on our lot on that trip in late Dec 2011. I went to the Design Team Meeting in Feb 2012 and we had our Lifestyle Visit in April 2012 when the house was almost done! We closed in May 2012. Unfortunately, my 89 year old mother doesn't want to move to TV full time and we are renting our TV home and we are in Michigan!

We, us three G's, had the pleasure of meeting Mr.and Mrs. Ugotme and giving them each several welcoming hugs.
I am so pleased that they will be villagers very soon and it sounds to me that they have chosen a beautiful spot to settle into. I won't spoil their fun by telling any more. We are all so lucky to have such a nice couple here with us in lower Paradise! Hugs and love, Gracie

HI sable99, we bought in Charlotte also. And I have lived in Adrian my whole life. My husband Ron was from here also, but left at 17. We re-connected 2 1/2 years ago and got married. We are still in Adrian, but will spend part of the year in TV. Hopefully we will be back down in a month or so. Welcome fello Adrianite!

my turn
April 2013, visited friends near Sarasota, looked at houses there, visited cousin in TV, looked here. Went home to Maryland, bought a car, but wanted light color because maybe we'd move to Florida, flew to Jacksonville to pick up light-colored car, drove car to TV 3 hours away, stayed with cousins in TV, looked at more houses, loved the last one we saw, not even up for sale yet, bid on house, 3 hours later, bid was accepted, 12 hours later we drove our new car (from Jacksonville), with our soon-to-be-TV house in our hearts, back to Maryland, closed in May, were guests at a driveway party to welcome us with about 40 neighbors in attendence. Moving down to TV full time in July!!!!!! Thank you cousins, Alice and Wally, thank you Nancy and Craig for needing a bigger garage for your Model T, and, thank you Brian, TV realtor, who kept in touch with us during the house negotiations and a surprise birthday party with a busload of people going to Orlando for the evening. Now all we need is a golf car/t/.
