Default Key Lime Pie Man

I'm told there is a man who sometimes sells Key Lime Pies in the vicinity of MicroRod Road. Does anybody know where and when he might be doing that?

Saw a sign there that he will be there Thursday starting at 11am. Cost last time I brought one was $20.00.

Key limes are the tiny ones, right. Most come from Texas.

Key limes are smaller than Persian limes.
They also have a thinner skin and more seeds than other limes.

No, most do not come from Texas.
Today, most of them come from Mexico.

Default Key Lime Pie

Is he located on MicroRod Road? If so, approximately where?

Default key lime man

I bought one once. It was well made BUT it wasn't tart and certainly NOT worth $20 >way too sweet. The beauty of the key lime is the tartness and in a pie it should be the focal point. JMHO

He has somewhat of a cult following. Cars are lined up to buy them long before he arrives. He usually has 4-5 signs posted on Racetrack road a few days before the arrival date. He probably arrives w 75-100 pies and always sells out. Agree that $20 for a key lime pie is pretty steep. Law of supply and demand. In his case the demand is definitely there.
