Default 4 wheel bike?

My wife and I rented a 4 wheel bike that looked like a car. We traveled a long distance, it was comfortable and not hard to pedal at all. They are available in single speed, multi speed and with electric motor assistance. One model has solar panels so it charges itself. They go about as fast a golf cart. Just wondering why I haven't seen any in the villages. Maybe they are there and I just haven't seen them when we were there.

Not to be overly picky but it would technically be called a quadracycle.
Back in the day Henry Ford stuck a gas engine in one and got started in the automobile business.
I did see one operated by a couple just this week in The Villages and as I recall they were headed East on Belvedere.

There is a 3 wheeled peddle car that I have seen in The Villages as a promo... but peddling up a steep tunnel incline or using a battery to pull up a peddle car would be a problem... I don't know we went up some inclines without a problem. I would think one with the extra gearing and electric motor would climb a pretty steep incline without much trouble. I am just guessing since I only road one for a day. The one I road didn't have the electic motor or gears. I did see some of the three wheeled one running around and they seemed to be harder to pedal. Well unless us senior citizens were in better shape than the 20 and 30 year olds on the three wheel ones. For some reason the young people seemed to gravitate to the three wheeled sporty one and the old folks went for the four wheel old car looking ones.
