Toss up for water or woods. Prefer lake over woods but woods over retention pond. I don’t get the appeal of a golf course.

We like a golf course with open green space, some trees, & beautiful lake.

Water views can go away.

Golf course views can go away.

Pay the premium with the understanding it's one-year-at-a-time.

For 40 years lived on several water view homes, one wooded, and one golf course home. Never again on a golf course, the wooded acreage was boring, water is the way to go. Nothing wrong with a retention pond, we have been on one for the last 7 years with no problems, great view, very peaceful, and lots of wildlife to watch.

Water view for sure. Worth every extra dollar paid. The variety of birds, ducks and turtles never get old. And I've never seen a single alligator. I hear our spring fed lake is too cold for their comfort.

Combination water first with golf course behind it. Best of both worlds.

Water view if it’s not too close to the house. Too many bugs and critters to deal with. Especially the slithery ones.

Default God course

We enjoy our golf course view. We didn't buy it for the course, but for the open view. We can't see into our neighbor's houses nor they ours. Our lot is on a championship course, which see a lot less traffic than the executive courses. I don't know whether we would have purchased a lot onnan executive course.
