No problem, Bob. It's just an educated guess - but it seems to fit!

Thanks Bill for the map link...and its good to know the new maps are also out for purchase... Its looking promising that we passed our Home Inspection...getting closer and closer to that closing April 30th for our buyers! When we hand over the keys I will feel much better but somewhat sad to say goodbye to our home of nearly 20 yrs. Hope to be meeting many of you in the months ahead!

I live in Alhambra, I'm assuming it's named after the beautiful city in Spain.

Interestingly, I grew up in Coral Gables, Florida (nicknamed "The City Beautiful") where the large majority of street names come from the names of Spanish towns and cities. My boyhood home was on Alhambra Boulevard, so in some ways, I've come full circle.

Elizabeth Hadley Richardson was the full name of Ernest Hemingway's first wife. The Village of Hemingway was indeed named after the author, while the Village of Hadley was similarly named after his first wife who throughout her life was called 'Hadley' (not 'Elizabeth').

Note that Hemingway's granddaughters are also represented in the village named for him: Margaux and Mariel.

And yes, the Village of Winifred was named after Arnold Palmer's first wife, Winifred Walzer, who died 12 or 13 years ago.

The Villages is for sure filled with trivia!
