Default Village of Pennecamp

Looking for info on the neighborhood including Altamonte Villas, thanks for your help. It seems like a nice location, surrounded by golf courses.

I have a CYV in Pennecamp, Jacaranda Villas and love it. Pennecamp is close to being in the geographical center of The Villages so everything is a close golf cart ride away. Many golf courses within a mile, plenty of pools and rec centers close by to pick from, LSL approx. 3-4 miles away, Colony Plaza 4ish miles away, lots of nice and quiet streets to walk or bike for exercise.

Pennecamp for 3 years now and love the area. Can get to most things in about 15 minutes by golf cart and that usually out to Publix at Colony.

Great neighborhood. We live on Markridge Loop and this area which includes Abordale and Altamont Villas is very sociable. We have our own website which keeps everyone informed of all that is going on. We have several golf leagues, book club, dine out groups, chick flick Thursdays, thirsty Thursdays, socials at Fish Hawk etc. Welcome if you are new or thinking of buying. We call ourselves Jacaranda Islanders.

We used to live in Kingfisher Villas. Lovely place, but if you needed to leave the bubble, all your major shopping is all the way to the east on 27/441. Or North on 301 to 466 stores. Colony is closer for you and is moving up to be a major shopping area for your everyday needs.

I live in Altamonte Villas. Like Raynan says, this neighborhood is very friendly and social. Did you end up buying in Altmaonte Villas? Feel free to pm me so I can see that you are welcomed properly to the street!

If you bought in the Altamont Villas, their social is tonight at Fish Hawk at 6pm. Not expecting many where it is offseason and many full-timers are out of town too but it will give you a chance to meet some of your neighbors. If you come, introduce yourself to me, Nancy, at the front table hosting tonight. Hope to see you and welcome you.

We won't close unti mid July, though we thank you for the invite. Appears to be a very nice neighborhood.

Welcome home. Put on your calendar....2nd Tues of every month is the Jacaranda Islander social at 6pm at Fishhawk Rec Ctr.

Chick Flick is always the first Thursday morning of the month.

Book Club is the third Thursday of the month at 1pm.

Check out our website for further info and if you sign up at the website (residents of Jacaranda Island only) you will be able to keep up with everything this neighborhood has to offer such as golf groups, dineout groups, puppy playtime groups etc.
