Yes, I recommend “Siriusly Sinatra” on Sirius/XMAS, channel 71. Almost entirely vocal swing versions of songs from The Great American Songbook. It’s not “smooth jazz,” but it’s much better, with better melodies and lyrics.

If you have a HD radio check out WMGF 107.7 sub channel 2, out of Mt Dora. They play smooth jazz 24/7. I can receive it OK near Brownwood.

Besides, TV's metro population is around 130K, certainly enough to support another radio station. Although I listen to WVLG occasionally and am okay with it, it would be great to hear a Villages-based station that deviates from constant soft rock once in a while. And one that provides some balance to news reports rather than channeling only Fox. And if they could throw in the prog and post-punk of our generation, that would be even better. Apart from WVLG, I only listen to Sirius XM. For me, commercial radio has long been unlistenable. I only listen to WVLG because I'm new to the Villages and that station permits me to learn more about the area and gives me an overall vibe of the place, for better or worse.
