We have a contract on our house -- if the inspection goes well tomorrow, we will be closing January 15. We could move sooner but Irv thinks it is not a good idea to move during the holidays (Christmas and New Year's) because movers, service people, etc. are busy partying and unreliable at that time. Any thoughts or feedback? I was hoping they would just be jollier --lol

Hi Angie, I think it is going to be a new Village called Charlotte - not 100% but have heard that! Can't wait to start our trip next week and meet all our new neighbors!

According to map I saw recently, the Village of Charlotte is below Sanibel on Morse.

Hi All- they should be starting this week to level our lot on Beville Place!! Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any plans to put in a dog park in our area. The closest one is off Bonita we think. It sure would be great for all of us dog lovers to have something closer. Any thoughts? See you all Thursday AM- Pat & Jim

We have an offer on our house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Closing is expected to be Oct. 6th or 7th! I am just praying it all goes through. With luck from St. Joseph, who is planted outside, we will be heading to TV on Oct. 14-17th.
So looking forward to getting there and meeting new Sanibel peeps. We will be living in Pennecamp until spring or whenever we build.

We had our house inspection today so our sale is almost complete. We may actually be moving to Silk Tree Terrace in Sanibel in December instead of January! Can't wait to meet everyone!

We just found out that the elevation we picked for our Gardenia will not fit onto the lot we selected so we will now be on Vanilla Leaf Way instead of Silk Tree Terrace --for an additional $7000!! We have a contract on our house in Miami and look forward to closing on or about January 15. Will we have any neighbors by then?
