The Villages Fire Department is at risk of being rolled up into the county fire department. This is what half the proposals by Bradley Arnold would do. The county fire chief had input on the 10 solutions to the increased response time problem and came up with 5 solutions that eliminate the Villages Fire Department. Something besides fixing the increased response time is going on or why would half the solutions eliminate the department with the best response time.

We need to get as many people at the ad hoc Ems response meeting Wednesday at 7 pm at the Wildwood community center on Powel Rd. Don't let them do this in the dark, show up and show your support. Once they eliminate them there will be no going back.
