I’m NOT going to believe any of this until someone posts which golf course was involved. Knowing the golf course does not violate any HIPPA regulation.

Amen / in Massachusetts the official death rate has a notation as follows / Probable cases had either a positive antibody test and either had COVID symptoms or were likely to be exposed to a positive case. They also include individuals whose death certificate listed COVID-19 as a cause of death but who were not tested. Seems like they are trying to juice the numbers / antibody test is 50/50 result accuracey but also stated ; Covid symptoms( which could be any number of different illnesses, Likely to be exposed (what) from what we read everyone is likely to be exposed and lastly death certificates that list covid but were never tested (what)

shameful if it actually was 'business as usual'....but I wouldn't immediately jump to that conclusion based on hearsay
You are responsible for your own safety. Don't blame others!

Really?? Obviously you don’t realize the cost of healthcare.
Especially when a cancer diagnosis is in play. You must be on medicare or very wealthy. We are not close to medicare age, my wife cannot work, so our lively hood depends on me working and providing healthcare. Many times i think how i would like to walk away from healthcare field. If it wasn’t for health insurance, i would walk today without regret. I have put 39 yrs into healthcare in FL. And NO, there are no pensions in FL healthcare.

Why shut down golf. The players never touch anything but their own cart, ball, club.

I too am careful. The developer has no right to withhold Covid information in the villages. This post states the information was “hush hush”. If that is true the developer should be exposed for this conduct and taken to task
We need to be able to make informed decisions and decide individually how much risk we are willing to expose ourselves too!

Picking and choosing your activities has nothing to do with cases. Without contact tracing how would it be determined where the virus was contracted at a rec center or some other activity?
What information would you want published in the Daily Sun?
Your statements make no sense, since there is no logical way to do what you are asking.
Your safety is your responsibility......
No it doesn’t mean it was contacted where working. It certainly means that all of the people he was in contact with while working are at risk, need to quarantine and get tested!!!!!!!!!!
To keep this “hush hush” is as unethical as it is irresponsible

I like proven facts, I do not like hearsay.
The only way to keep an indoor building "totally safe" from a highly contagious, AIRBORNE deadly virus would be to PADLOCK that building until the US has around 80% of its people vaccinated (if the vaccine is good for about 1 year, which no ones knows yet). Saying that somewhere is totally safe is one way to keep people employed with a veneer of "normality" - until DEATHS are so great that normality and the social fabric is disrupted and the US is FORCED to re-quaranteen. Likely, this will happen 3 to 4 weeks after Fl. has opened its schools.

Precautions should have included anyone who might have had contact at the starter shack to be informed

Can life be really normal in an intensely abnormal deadly Plague?

I also see people who recover and will have lasting neurological symptoms or heart & lung issues. People who have some pre existing issues are at a huge risk, especially from people like you who continue to look at this as “paranoia”.
It’s real, it needs to be contained, and with flu season around the corner deaths will rise significantly.
And just so you know, wherever you go, whatever you do, if the person next to you has not been careful, they could be infecting you. Even in your local ER waiiting room. I sincerely hope you change your way of thinking.
That was REAL truth. A mature, intelligent ADULT telling his CHILDREN to be responsible and careful!

Shutting down golf is crazy. No details on the dead person. You don’t even know if work was a factor. Stop the fear mongering.
