We are staying at Holiday RV park in our motor home. We asked about guest passes but those are only available on a lifestyle visit. We are in Florida for the winter and did a previous day trip to meet with our sales agent. This time we plan to explore surrounding area and return for a full lifestyle visit this summer. Great comments. You are doing it exactly right.
The Villages is about 28 miles…North to South. Any geographical area this large has a lot of diversity. Take your time, get a feel for what each area has to offer.
And you need two sales agents. Villages sales agents can’t show you any MLS listings. MLS agents can’t show you the Villages listings. If you work with one agent you will only see half of what’s on the market.
I’ve been here 15 years. I’ve looked at retirement communities all across the nation. There is no place that can compare.
Our clubs, facilities, amenities, arts scene…..we lead very rich and happy lives.
You will love it here.

Thats a great idea.

HH golf course is one of the nicest in the villages
The pool was recently re built, from scratch (not renovated, re built) along with a bunch of new recreation amenities.
The club house is getting re built.

Katie Belles hasnt been around for years. But you will see the new investments made in SS.

If an agent rents a cart for a visitor, would the agent have liability for an accident?

Are you suggesting the showing of one area and then selling somewhere else, or buying MLS?

I have personal knowledge/experience regarding the first part, and a well-known realtor who has specialized in The Villages real estate market for decades (both working for The Villages, and now as an MLS realtor) produced a video explaining how he is able to show prospective buyers any home that is listed only in the VLS.
