Default Villages Sales Comparisons

As one of the new TV'ers in Osceola Hills (to those north of 466A-TV'ers, way down south where God lost his shoes), short story is pretty simple (and familiar): we're lovin' the TV life-style... and nothing makes us more pleased than seeing all the new homes going up literally in front of our eyes... everywhere, all around us as far as the eye can see! My question: is the "build-out" here in the deep south running the course of past "build-outs"? In the recent "build-out" near Brownwood and north to 466A? In the 466 middle-earth regions? In the "build-out" of the northwest quad, beyond 466? Interested in learning perspectives from our experienced residents on speed of building, sales of homes, time of transition from house to home, creation of that "neighborly feeling"? We see all these houses and just wonder: every house and lot within ear and eye shot will be sold by the time the clock strikes 12 on January 1, 2017? June 1, 2017? January 1, 2018?

I put the term 'build-out' in the same category as 'unicorns.'

Most people would like to see it, but the likelihood that it truly exists...is pretty slim.

It's my opinion that as long as the original developers family can buy property, they will continue to expand.

And why shouldn't they, after all it has proved to be very successful for them.

Add to the fact that their 'family' is obviously getting bigger, so continued expansion is almost a must...since they now have more 'mouths to feed.'

I am still chuckling over " Way down South where God lost His shoes". I plan to take that phrase as my own.

Welcome friend. I hope you always will enjoy this place like we do.

There are 300 to 350 homes to be built in the NW corner off of rt 42.

There are a little more than 2,000 to be built in Pine Hills section down off 44.

When the developer was building a lot of homes, it took about 2 1/2 to 3 months for the total completion per home. It's a well oiled machine and they proceed very fast.

I have conflicting feelings about build-out as they said they would be finished in 2012 and here it it is 2016. The other feeling is, the area above 466a and 466 doesn't seem to have much land to build on. I really don't see how the developer could expand in these areas unless the Morse family decides to move out of their compound which encompasses a lot of land. If one looks at the map, there is a very large mass of land just north of 466, (the Morse compound). I seriously doubt if that is going to happen.

Another rumor was the developer was going to move the polo field out and build homes. That didn't happen.

Some people will say, "build is a myth", but I have noticed the newer areas seem to be on the fringe of TV.
Some people will say, if there a scrap of land anywhere, the developer will build another village.

Only time will tell because no one knows and the developer has a long history of not saying anything. When it starts going in, is when, we usually start to know.
