Anyone know if construction crews are burning tree stumps, and other debris? I'm in Hemingway and it was quite smokey today.

asked a similar question about a month ago to a police officer -- his reply this time of year nearby farms are burning of there vegetation trash piles - stumps , bushes, etc that they accumulate over the year. that may be the cause off yesterday's smoke - I noticed it last night near Big Cyprus Rec. Ctr. also.
