Does anyone know if I need a permit to screen in the front porch that is 20 x6? How do I get one? I've gotten 4 estimates and only one person said I needed a permit. I'm confused.

You need to have it approved by the Architectural Review Committee.

You may not need a building permit but you will need approval from the ARC listed in the above post.
