Default Warning: anti Daily Rag post coming up

Useful "Hint from Heloise" today about cleaning stainless steel pots and pans.

And very nice of The Daily Rag to reprint it today, in case you missed the exact same one yesterday.

If you missed it today, too, may I suggest you look in tomorrow's paper as I doubt that they'd have come up with anything new to print.

You actually checked what you referred to as "The Daily Rag" not once, but two days in a row??

Are you really that torqued at the paper or just starting a new thread to pound on them?

Not sure I'd take advice from someone named Heloise no matter how many times it was posted.

I'm also glad that I don't have enough idle time on my hands to notice the little errors in a neighborhood paper.

We spend a few bucks an subscribe to it for the stuff going on here.

For news we all know it is very slanted to say the least.

Meanwhile, it appears they've dropped Dilbert. I never considered the Daily Sun a "woke" publication.

That was one of my favorite comic strips :-(

It's not as if the strip itself was "racist" - or if it was it was anti every race going

Still, knowing The Daily Rag, they'll probably repeat them without realizing...

I've heard that but seem to have difficulty finding the "slanted" news you mention. Can you point out some examples from today's paper, since you are a subscriber?

Thanks.

We all have a calling, and I guess this is mine.

Sure, it's not "Saving the Amazon" but, seeing how much flak Greta Thunberg gets, I think I made the right decision.

There so many newspapers you can subscribe to on the internet and read all the trash they spew every day. If you don't like the Daily Sun, don't subscribe to it. It's like any business, if you don't like their service/product don't buy it and if it is of that poor quality no one else will buy it either. I subscribe to it for the funnies and crossword puzzles, the only believable thing in any newspaper.

My answer is they publish only news that the developer approves of. Read todays paper this am and it is now in the trash.

I like “the Daily rag”! Most of the articles make me smile. I like the puzzles too, even the comics are relevant.
Yes, I noticed the double print of the same article. It didn’t wreck my day.

I read several papers every day, including WSJ, NYT, and some foreign papers. A lot of them report most negative things, all the horrors that happen all over the world, all the bad things that happen to people. They have good information about business, etc too. But I like to finish my reading sessions with the Daily Sun, to have a laugh or a chuckle or encouragement…to start the rest of my day.

Don't like it? I love it! Best part of the day, seeing what repetitions have slipped through.
