Default Warning Be Careful

When I was leaving TV for the drive back home I headed East on 466 and encountered the construction detour. The route leads you a few blocks into a residential area and then back onto 27. You will need to watch your speed and make full stops at the stop signs.

I was following a pick up truck and I spotted a sheriff off to the side of the road talking with the the driver in another car. I would never have though that this was a speed trap in the way the two cars were sitting.

He pulled over the truck in front of me and it must have been for speeding. Not sure what the limit is (maybe 20 or 25) on that road but the guy was not going that fast and this was not in the construction area. Also he did make a full stop at the stop sign.

Watch your speed and stops in that area.

The reason I posted this is that I do not think the guy did anything wrong. Plus the cop was parked is such a way it looked as though he backed into a drive to chat with a friend. The next thing you know his lights were on and he pulled in front of me and the guy had already pulled over about 200 feet ahead. Very odd traffic stop in my opinion.

Default Traffic stop

Maybe there was info. the cop had, that the pick up had been used in a crime or the Reg. Owner was wanted.

I agree, could be more than speeding or stop sign issues.
