Cool Washer/dryer move

We bought a house that has the washer/dryer located in the two car garage. We have the hall from the garage to the kitchen where most washers are located. Would you know if it is possible ( I know anything is possible ) or cost wise to run the water and drain lines to the interior? Thank you.

I would call home warrenty (if this is a new home) & they will have it fixed that the washer & Dryer should be in the laundry room (hallway between Kitchen & garage).... what style of home do you have??

Yes it can be done and not that expensive. That hallway should back to the Master bedroom bath. So water and drain pipe is available near by. Probably cost around $200 to move it. A bit more if it's a gas dryer. You might want to try it in the garage for a season or two before moving and use that hallway space for additional cabinets or a small freezer.

Thanks, we're just part timers so no need for a freezer.

I have three bedroom ranch and our laundry room (between kiTchen & garage) backs up to the master bedroom closet! When we bought, we could not build our homes, we all had to buy what TV built!

Washer and dryer inside equates to more noise, dust and possible flooding if the hoses leak. Unless you sit in front of the washer and dryer to watch the clothes wash and dry, you only spend a few minutes outside doing the laundry.

We had friends who have a very large expensive Villages home and moved their washer and dryer to the garage. They then had a very large built-in pantry/storage cabinets built where the washer and dryer were. I'd love that much storage and really wouldn't mind the washer/dryer in the garage.

Do you sit and watch your dshwasher run? It could spring a leak also.
