Default Washing Windows

How many people like washing windows? Probably a person working as a window washer.

We enclosed our Lanai and have a large number of windows to wash.

The installer had a crew clean the windows the first time. They gave me a hint I would like to share. Use a good window wash kit , don't wash in direct sunlight and use 1 Cap full of Murphys Oil Soap per gallon of water. A 4 foot by 6 foot window takes about 4 minutes. Wash with wand, squeegee dry and use absorbent cloth to wipe edges.
I think the Murphys Oil Soap as the key. Note that Murphys Oil Soap seems hard to fine.

And for you cleaning your golf cart plastic windshield don't use newspaper it will scratch the plastic.
Use a plastic spray cleaner, squeeze and paper towel for edges.

Pinterest…Dawn dash soap, vinegar, distilled water. Shake well. Works very well, don’t have to buy anything special

To those of you who do your windows yourself, I recommend,

The White Green Cloth...phone 863-808-3013 or

theWhiteGreenCloth.com

We use it both here and up north, and it works great on vehicles.

Paper towel will also scratch the plexiglass windshield on our golf carts.

Microfiber cloths instead ….

Paper towels are meant to be abrasive and I would never use them on any plexi. Microfiber is best.

I use water and vinegar combined mixture. Works great and windows crystal clear. Wash with a cloth in water/vinegar mixture, squeeze off and wipe around the edges with clean lint free cloth. Doesn’t take that long.

What is special and different about the WhiteGreenCloth as opposed to the microfiber cloths that we use for cleaning?
