Does anyone here take the water aerobic class at Seabreeze on Thursdays at 9am? I’m wondering what the speaker set up looks like.

We play tennis next to the pool, and usually we can hear her instructions, and very faintly we can hear the music and the backbeat. Today her voice on the closest tennis court was so loud we couldn’t talk over it. Louder than the squares. This is only the second time I’ve heard it that loud.

I’m wondering if there are portable speakers in use for her class, and they sometimes get aligned so that they are facing the tennis courts instead of the pool. And then because people in the pool can’t hear she turns it up. (I’m guessing if it was that loud in the pool people would complain. It was so loud it was causing headaches.) As I said, it’s rarely that loud, so I’m wondering what is causing it.

Last time I pointed it out to the manager at Seabreeze. They said there was nothing they could do, it was up to the instructor.

I know when a substitute takes over the class we hardly hear anything, but I also know the substitute teaches from in the pool, not on the pool deck.
