I guess you're right. But I think a flat rate on sewer would be better. Like trash pickup, which is the same regardless of the amount of trash.

I have a pool up north and it gets filled every spring. None of that hits the sewer. Nor does all the lawn and landscape watering. But, I guess that's recognized because the summer sewer charge is calculated based on winter usage. Of course that's not fair either since my usage is low in winter because I'm not there. Fortunately, we don't have a pool in The Villages.

Speaking of trash, did anyone notice that the trash price went from $16.92 to $17.90 back in February? I did not notice it until this month.
