Default Are we following distancing rules?

Went by the Sugar Cane pool, noticed that the gate was held open by the garbage can, approximately 20 people in and around the pool. No one wearing a mask. Signs clearly visible requiring mask wearing Inconsiderate people will ruin it for everyone.

things will change if there is a second round of covid-19

sounds like some are thinking that the 'all clear' siren has been sounded

we're continuing to play it safe...this is far from over

but everyone has the right to do what they feel they want to do (for now anyway)

The dogs were practicing social distancing today at Atlas. The majority of dog owners, not so much.
I'll put my seer hat on for a moment and what I see is this pandemic getting worse exponentially by the end of this year. Those who are cautious will not be infected, those who are careless will. The economy will suffer greatly and will not recover to its pre-pandemic level for at least 6 years.
Simply put, people would rather listen to a talking head rather than examining history and listening to the non-partisan scientific community.
I sincerely hope I am wrong. Please don't reply with a politicized comment. Politics is just another word for BS, something I'd rather not step in.

Better steer clear of all those people.

Dont wear a mask..never will. Dont practice social distancing. Love walking up next to someone trying to pick out something in the supermarket and they run away.

Still can not understand the panic here..

If you are in panic mode...stay home...let us that value freedom not have to deal with your fear

Best example of this was earlier today, although I don't know if it funny or just pathetic.

I was driving my cart on a MMP and a woman walking her dog was walking toward me. No one was coming the other way, so I moved to the far side of the path and would pass no closer than 8 or 9 feet from her. She dropped her dog's leash and nearly tripped over her own feet as she fumbled to put her mask on! Fortunately she didn't fall, the dog didn't run away, and I got to watch her finish donning her mask in my rear view mirror. Panic or prudence, you decide.

Media panic. Kill your TV before it kills you.

No they do not.
If it is required to be in that particular area then that is what is expected.
The issue is not those who choose to ignore the rules of the area.
It is totally the lack of enforcement.
No mask....out of the pool (area).

Until you run up against someone who calls you on your irresponsible lack of consideration.
I wanna be there when you meet him/her.
Sounds like a lot of bombastic keyboard bravado!

The way people are going around with the attitude that they get to tell you what to do, it probably will happen 5 x/day

Nope. Just refuse to live in fear.

If you want to be there, what are you hoping for? An altercation, obscenities, or a weapon of some sort. Then you can be the witness, and satisfaction of saying you get what you ask for

Your example is the equivalent of walking up to someone and blowing second-hand smoke in their face and saying they shouldn’t worry because they’re PROBABLY not going to get cancer. Yet somehow you claim you’re the victim of having to deal with their fear.
