We are going to be buying a series of newspaper ads. What should they say?
We plan, in the next couple of weeks to buy a series of two column by 4 inch newspaper ads about Talk of The Villages. Of course, we have to include the URL WWW.talkofthevillages.com, but what else do you think it should say. We want to attract new members and guests. How do we tell the story in just a few, well chosen words?
Pretend you are a Madison Avenue advertising executive. Pretend we are going to pay you $5,000,000 for you advertising slogan or wording. What would it be. |

Something along the line: "New Village Club Forming - Join and Participate From The Comfort of Your Home".
Then go on to explain what it is all about - the sharing of ideas, interesting topics, helpful hints etc. Good Luck with the growth of TOTV :bigthumbsup:

Include a drawing and a chance to win a free dinner if they sign up. You could also use this to support your advertising base if the free dinner is at one of your advertisers. Each of the ads should have* different incentive to join.
