We met Monday with designer Stacey DeWitt. She was extraordinarily helpful, insightful, and patient. We have spent the last 5 1/2 mo fine tuning our house plans and were able, with her expert guidance, to power through all design details in one day.

The drawings were ready for us to review with all our structural changes on Tues at 1:30. We signed, wrote the check for the remaining 20% and headed to dinner to celebrate by 5:30.

Our closing date is Feb 12!! Apparently they don't slow down over the holidays!!

We are very excited and pleased with the design process. We also felt that the materials and equipment offered were of very good quality.

We were Stacey's last Custom Design. She will spend her time designing inventory now. The end of an era. We feel so blessed to have the homesite we do, the friendly neighbors on our street and to have our home our way!

We have much to be thankful for today!!

Now to figure out the golf cart purchase....

Hi Dotti, I am so very happy for you. I followed your posts and know how much effort you put out trying to make the right decisions the first time. I went through the same process two years ago. It is worth it! Hope to meet you someday.
