Residents have been urged to hunker down at your nearest beach and/or tiki bar for further instructions. Use extreme caution when braving this blizzard of sunshine, preferably SPF30. We are asking our friends and relatives to the north to please keep us in their thoughts as we deal with 2 feet buried in the sand.

Hey guys, even if you get a little rain you can't really complain, after all the drops are still liquid and will run down a drain and not pile up on your driveway.

Very amusing but when I checked the forecast for tomorrow they are predicting a 70% chance of rain for The Villages for tomorrow. So it looks like we'll be spared that intense sunshine for one more day!

I do trolley tours and the other day some of the passengers were talking about having to go home and shovel snow from their driveways... my driver piped in and said " Do you know how we clean our driveways here in the winter? We go out every morning and pick up the newspaper! " (I'll have to use that one on future tours)
