Wow! That's my pool of choice for water aerobics. It looked in pretty good shape when in left last April. Any idea what is happening?

No, I was surprised that the email from VCDD didn't elaborate or give a time frame for repairs/replacement. Are there any other sport pools in the area?

For me it would either be Laurel Manor or Savannah I suppose. I guess I will have to look into it when we get there -- soon, very soon!

Colony pool was closed Wed until further notice. Not sure why. Didn't try to go today so don't know if it is open or not.

with no inflrmation to clarify one can conclude there is something wrong to take such immediate action with an ambiguous statement at best.

Smells legal cover the ol' butt to me.

If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact the La Hacienda Recreation Center at 753-1716.

Seems like the answer is a phone call away...

Colony closed on Sunday at 3:00 pm for maintenance work. I was also told they would be putting in a handicap lift. I went by on Monday and noticed they had the pavers out and a trench dug about 3 feet from near the edge of the pool. The trench was on the north side of the pool and went from mid pool to the steps on the west end of the pool.

I was surprised that the VCDD did not send out an e-mail regarding this repair.

A quick call to Colony and the pool is now open and back on it's normal schedule.

Good to hear there was no sinister plot involved.

This should occur at every pool in TV. New federal mandate as part of the ADA, every public pool has to have a lifting device.
