I was saddened to hear of Wiwi's passing. She was one of the nicest ladies I knew.

Many of us here on TOTV participated in a few "Freezes" at the Squares. Wiwi was always there and here are 3 videos with her in them. I've notated the approximate times she appears in each video. You'll recognize many TOTV faces. Those were the best times!

Brightspot,,, thanks so much for posting those videos... Yes, those were absolutely the fun times on TOTV. She was a wonderful lady who was always there for us.

Thank you Admin for changing her status, can you also change Schotzyb's too??? Thank you so much.

Thanks for posting this. Some of us cannot see this without someone quoting it. Graciegirl and I were think along the same lines. I did not do any of the freezes but have been at some of the Friday monthly Crispers get togethers. I seem to recall meeting IslandGal at one of these but am not sure of this.

Tal, I think it was Feb. '09 because that's where I found the picture of her in post #1. I think you were there also because I saw you in the crowd.

Sad news. We'd never met her but she seemed like such a nice person from her posts.

I just wanted to let all of you know that the last time I spoke to BJ (island gal aka WiWi) she was leaving the Villages Hospital and being moved to hospice. I took some liberties and stretched the truth and told her that everyone on TOTV was asking about her.

It made her very happy. She said she wished she had her computer with her so she could read what everyone was saying. I said Gracie, KathieI, barefoot and many, many others were saying nice things and everyone wanted her to get well and they missed her posting.

I know you are suppose to always tell the truth. I sort of lied. But in this case, I think it was okay. I know she would be very happy with all the beautiful things everyone is saying about her.

I wish I had gotten to know her better. She touched my heart.

I didn't know Wiwi well, but we were a small TOTV group in the early days .. 2007. Brightspot posted some pictures of The Freeze which was so much fun. So I would be at a lot of the same functions as Wiwi, and we occasionally played mahjongg together. She was a warm and classy lady.

BK, you are a very kind person, and I'm glad you were able to make Wiwi feel a bit better to know we were all thinking of her. And it really wasn't stretching the truth, I had many friends who used to be frequent posters asking about her and hoping for the best.

Wiwi and I both used to often be up during the wee hours of the morning. When I logged on to TOTV, I would always look to see if she was also on, and I felt a connection to her. Wiwi, rest in peace.

Default Wiwi

BK, you were telling the truth. We who knew Wiwi were all thinking of her and saying wonderful things about her. She was a delightful person.

We also said positive things about you, helping Wiwi.

I am new here so I did not know either person that you are talking about. My sympathies to all of you for your loss.

It's true BK, I was chatting with The Vicar before I left TV and we were both saying that you were very good to Wiwi when she needed a friend.
