This morning at 6: 50 the space station flew overhead for about 4 minutes from NW to ESE. Tomorrow it will be at a lower angle starting at 6:07 from NNW to E for 3 minutes. You can check out the viewing schedule at spotthestation.nasa.gov. With good binoculars you can distinguish the actual shape.

I've watched the flyover of the ISS many times. Very cool to see. The Elon Musk Starlink project is amazing to see when it comes over your location. They have an app for it too. Like watching a string of lighted pearls come right over you.

Unfortunately, Starlink has become harder to see since they have reduced the light intensity so as not to interfere with astronomers regular observations. Download the Starlink app to Apple or Android. It gives you sighting days/times based on your GPS co-ordinates.
