Default Questions about your lanai shades before I purchase them

Questions about the hand controlled or motorized shades for a screened lanai

1) Do they make any noise from the wind when they are up or pulled down and secured?

2) Which type do you have and recommend or not recommend.

My spouse thinks they will be noisy no matter what type we buy. Is this true from your experience?

We have Coolaroo's. They really do the trick to give privacy and block direct sun. When our lanai was not glassed in like it is now, (just screened) the wind would flap them for sure at times. We would always roll them up when there was wind.

We have the manually operated blinds on our lanai and I've not noticed any noise when the wind blows. We also roll up our blinds when it gets really windy, blinds won't hold up very well in strong winds.
