You actually can't replace a key. For $25, you get a new lock with 3 keys. This is directly from the post office.

Check with the people inside the postal bldg first. They said a lot of people that find keys turned lost keys over to them and they have a box full of lost keys.

While checking in at Lopez today, they have keys that include a mail box key on the counter. They are looking for their owners.
