Default Need a good Tax Preparer

We sold our home and moved from NJ in July of last year and are looking for a good tax preparer to handle both our NJ return and our federal. Any suggestions??

If you have a computer Turbo tax is an excellent software for doing your taxes and if your return isn't to complicated you can do it for free. You will have to pay for doing the State taxes. Selling your home is subject to the $250,000 (single) $500,000 (married) exclusion which Turbo tax will lead you step by step through. If you sold your NJ home for less than the exclusion amount you will have no gain. Other than that there is always H&R Block but just have them tell you what it's going to cost you before you start which they can do very easily. Good luck.

The last 2 years we have used a CPA, Mark Murphy. Comes to your home goes over information and in a few days emails a copy of the return for you to go over. Very good service and very reasonable.
