I would like to take up cycling and join one of the bicycle clubs. What kind of bicycle do you suggest I look for?

Go talk to the fine folks at:

Village Cycles - Spanish Springs & Brownwood
Wildwood Cyclery - Wildwood
Santos Trailhead Bikes - Belleview
Brick City Bikes - Ocala
Ocala Bike Center - Ocala

These people know bikes and can put you on the proper bike.

Depends on how much you want to ride,, and how much you are willing to spend. 100.00 to 5000.00 or more.

ALot of different styles of bikes. need to go to a bike shop and talk with them and figure out they type of riding you will be doing.

I know alot of people who have wanted to start cycling, spend all the money getting the GOOD stuff, then quit.

Cycling is very expensive if you really get into it and decide to purchase at top end bike.

Make sure you get the right fit and size, most bike shops will assist you in that.
