Default Daytona Beach

We are new residents to Florida and have yet to make it to any of the beaches. Our grand kids are coming to visit in late April, and we'd like to take them to Daytona Beach. Can anyone recommend a precise area to take them to? Appreciate your input. Sandra

Head north to St. Augustine beach and take them into town. Lots to do. Great tourist area. Also, alligator farm and Ampitheatre.

Default Great info

Thanks a bunch for the good info. The kids are 11 and 13 and a trip into town will probably be just the thing after a while on the beach. Don't know how warm the water will be in late April?

There is a very nice, new, water park at Daytona beach. Our kids loved it.
