Default Dependent Military ID renewal

My dependent military ID expires in September. I should have renewed it before I moved here from Winter Park, but I didn't. Is there a closer facility for renewal other than the one in Baldwin Park/Orlando? Thanks

I believe that to be the closest, next options are MacDill AFB and Patrick AFB, a toss-up there.

Google says there are 2 in Orlando. You might try contacting a recruiter and ask him/her.

I used MacDill. You will want to make an appointment to cut down on the wait time.

We went to Orlando. It was fairly easy and quick but would make an appointment.

All ID issuing offices are shown at
https://rapids-appointments.dmdc.osd...t/default.aspx
(you will have to input the state or a zip code)
Orlando has 3 issuing offices.
You can also make an appointment via that website (which will prevent sitting and waiting forever).

We went to Orlando not long after we moved here to get my wife's ID renewed. We made an appointment via interenet and actually had to reschedule it, but when we did get there, it was pretty much a walk in and walk out type of thing. I don't think we were there more than 30 minutes. Make a day of it and take in some of the stuff in Orlando while you're there.

The key from all the advice and from personal experience is MAKE AN APPOINTMENT! We did but there was a couple who had been waiting for an hour without an appointment.

Great info. Thanks. I need to get mine done the end of the year.
