Question Eeeewww, what's that smell?

During a heavy rain the area around Colony Cottage and Colony Plaza smells like raw sewage. It is too far down wind to be caused by the facility on Buena Vista, it seems to be upwind of the facility off 466a, whatever that is.
Any ideas?

Hey Whalen,

Some of the ponds SMELL! You can smell the recycled water TV uses from them when watering also. When walking on a hot day up north, I always liked to catch a bit of the spray from a neighbor's sprinklers, but here, if it is watering on the sides of the roads that TV maintains, I maintain a wide berth.

I wonder if the heavy rains stir up the water in the holding ponds and that it is what you are smelling? Many of these ponds are interconnected to allow TV to draw water to where is needed and not sure all are aerated to keep them fresh

Kate,
I know about the ponds and the watering. One night they were watering near our house and even the cats ran off the lanai!
This aromatic is much more intense than the eau de pond.
