18 years in a travel agency (sales and bookkeeping); t'wasn't any fun any more after 9/11, so retired! Prior to that with two different large advertising agencies, in media research. All together with Army Reserve service totalling better than 28 years, and paying almost half my retirement! ;D

Both working part time. Me, as a data analyst/statistician/grant writer, in a university research center, my husband as a physician. We are both lucky because I can take my computer with me and crunch numbers and write proposals anywhere, and my husband because the county is so anxious to keep him from retiring completely that they are willing to let him have a month off at a time. Works out just fine.

In our former lives I was an Army nurse (Brooke Army Medical Center, Ft. Sam Houston, TX) and he was an Army doc (Brooke, Walter Reed, Madigan).

I was a former R.N. in chest surgery and have been a Antique Dealer for the last 24 years. I am still active in the Antique business and sell alot on Ebay. Love the garage sales and flea markets!!!
My husband retired from Denistry five years ago and then had the great fortune of having the position of a Sea Dentist ~~~~~ we traveled on cruises with Holland America for about five years. Great time!! Hubby still works when our two Dentist sons need the extra hands.
