Exciting Updates Coming to Downtown Eastport
Hotel Eastport’s Exciting Design Inspiration and Construction Update We’re thrilled to share the design inspiration and construction update for Hotel Eastport! Hotel Eastport celebrates the magic of mid-century modern design with playful yet sophisticated elements that evoke nostalgia. With a beautiful view of Central Lake, this stunning hotel combines scenic beauty with timeless elegance, creating a haven of comfort and style. A Design Duo at the Helm Devon and Lauren, the sister team behind the Brownwood Hotel and Spa, return with a fresh perspective for Hotel Eastport. Their shared vision brings whimsical charm to every corner, blending warm tones, bold shapes, and creative finishes that invite joy. A Space for Every Occasion Boasting 120 rooms, a 3,000-square-foot ballroom, and versatile meeting spaces, Hotel Eastport is the perfect space for any guest. The lakeside bar, pool, and ice cream shop will ensure there’s something for everyone to enjoy. A Nostalgic Yet Modern Vibe From its mid-century modern aesthetic to its 1950s gas station-inspired restaurant design, the hotel offers guests a trip down memory lane. Fun colors and simple, elegant exteriors complete the retro yet refined atmosphere. A Celebration of Progress The topping-out ceremony marks an exciting milestone, as the final piece of structural steel is placed. This cherished tradition, complete with beam signing, symbolizes the collaboration and hard work that is bringing Hotel Eastport to life. It’s a celebration of progress and a moment to honor the journey toward completion. Looking Forward to What’s Next We’re excited to see the continued progression of Hotel Eastport and how all the design elements will come together. Stay tuned to Vmail for the latest updates as we move closer to unveiling this extraordinary lakeside destination. Hotel Eastport promises to deliver a nostalgic, joyful, and inviting experience for all who visit. |

I'm subscribed to their YouTube channel but received no alert to this video. I go digging around on their page, and while I eventually found it under the "playlists" tab, it is not under the "videos" tab where one would expect it. If you had not posted this, Altavia, I would have never known about it. Thank you.

My YouTube now shows the video, saying it posted 4 hours ago. That would be about 10:30am Eastern time on Friday December 27, 2024. That would also be 19 hours after my post in this thread about not seeing the video on my YouTube despite being able to click on the video on The Villages website to watch it on YouTube (the lower right corner of the screen when the video is playing).

Strange…
Appeared first for me on FB early Thursday morning. Which is why I try to post a link and the text when seeing these given many don’t subscribe, use FB or click on links. I like when they include the construction managers in the videos. Guessing there could be up to a billion dollars of commercial properties in construction between Eastport and Middleton simultaneously. |

Too much orange. There is a difference between “nostalgic” and “outdated”.
