Yesterday I saw someone who is as starstruck with this place as anybody I've met. She was a cute little blonde lady, driving a zebra striped golf cart with zebra striped seats. She was grinning and waving at everybody she passed. Her enthusiasm made me smile. She is not going to have any trouble making lots of friends. Most everyone would want to be in the glow of her energy.

Thank you for the post! When we first started investigating the Villages, basically all we heard was positive, including here. We purchased a home in July. We will be moving down in January.

Recently, it seems that the tone on TOTV has included a lot of negativity (bad neighbors, disagreements about pets, etc.). I was starting to be concerned. I have been on forums long enough to know that there will always be some negativity, but it was worsening here.

Everyplace has some issues. Everyplace has complainers. We are continuing to hope that The Villages will be as terrific as we first anticipated. This positive post helps!

You buy the whole package,3 town sqs 90 miles of cart trails more golf than most can do in a year. Well said.

We have been here for a little over 4 months now and we love it here. The only thing wrong is our family is in Ca. This has been the best thing for us. We are enjoying life everyday. We have met some great friends. We look forward to each day here in The Villages. The beauty here is unbelievable. I wonder how we got so lucky to find out out this awesome place. I wish all my friends and family could enjoy what we have found here.

I was really afraid to open this thread. Thought it would be another rant. I'm so glad I did. Thank you for the wonderful reminder about how great this place is.

I saw TV 7 years ago and my first impression was correct. I fell in love with it and the love keeps growing. I consider myself very lucky to have a friend who moved here and introduced me to paradise.

One really needs to see it, before they believe it!

Everyday is a vacation day!

Remember that old saying:

Your life is your garden
Your thoughts are the seeds
If your life isn't awesome
You have been watering the weeds

Well, living here at The Villages, has been nothing but "AWESOME"

Everything is amazing. And NO problems finding water aerobics classes. Mulberry pool is deep enough to do deep water. I only wish they had spin dryers for our suits.

Maybe we should work on that. I know I can gather a crowd to watch while they spin.
