Just wondering. I won't. I am eighty. The older the more deadly Covid-19 is.
Inside of me there is a 16 year old, but I have lived long enough not to listen to her. Going out more? How much more? Staying home for awhile? Whatchadoin'?????? In or out?

I'm out a lot already because of work (at least 2 days a week, up to 4 days a week). Hopefully once this is over I'll be able to cut back on work and only work 2 days a week maximum.
I will probably go to the pool once or twice a week, and shoot at the archery range again. And maybe visit the squares and get a Kilwen's ice cream. Dining IN restaurants - I'll probably still avoid for awhile longer. But dining outside and take-out I'll do. Not a lot of drastic changes from how it is now. |

Very good for those able and high risk to stay safe.
I'm ready to do things outside given (IMHO) risk is more manageable. It's easier to social distance - plus nice breezes, fresh air and sunshine are reasonably effective risk mitigators. Plan to limit doing things to with people I know are being reasonably safe and will let me know if they have a problem. Also will continue to carry hand sanitizer and use it before and after touching anything in public. Will continue to avoid indoor places with recirculating air and see how it goes as things ramp up... |

I'll move around and keep my distance. Like someone else said, I plan to carry a small container of alcohol or Purell and wash my hands often. And do my best to avoid touching my face. I'll probably wear a mask to appease other people, but still not sure if any mask really makes a difference. Now when someone coughs or sneezes I'll join the stampede running away from the culprit. Or not.
But I really am curious to find out how people in fairly close proximity will react to a sneeze or cough, especially if the person doesn't cover it with his/her inside elbow. The new pariahs?

One more thing I'll watch is when hospitals allow visitors again.

We rarely ate out before, never changed walking, running, biking, or playing golf.
Majority here have income so they could shelter in place for years, and may do so. There are those who may never leave their house for a year, always worried about another spike. Want to see business open so those doing without job, healthcare, and food on their table can provide for their families. All of the thousands of healthcare workers back to a new normal, so they are not paying $1,800 a month in healthcare. Risk is a choice, if you choose to continue back to your life, It is not my job to tell you otherwise, nor tell you why you are wrong. Still be safe, but respect what other choose to do |

However I too am in the 'be carefull' group with this virus. Our youngest daughter does our shopping, and as we live in a small village, we do not run the risk that people in the larger towns and cities face daily. We have wonderfull rolling countryside to walk miles in, and seldom pass or see another person, so exercise and keeping reasonably fit is no problem. Even the weather has been great, although we are having some much needed rain at the moment We miss close contact with daughters and grandchildren, but keep up on Skype, Whatsupp, and Faceache. Our garden has never been so weed free, and our house has never been cleaner. So in answer to your question, more of the same, and of course, being the miserable old git I am, plenty of social distancing, which I for one consider as one of this viruses great plusses! Happy Anniversary. ![]() ![]() |

We are staying in until things are a lot safer. Stopped playing golf in Feb. Better safe than sorry. People here have not followed safety rules well.

For us it is dependent upon the source of the information. Medical officials say it and were out there. If the source is political leaders, we stay home.

Wrong, it’s your grandchildren’s money they just haven’t had a chance to earn it yet.

I’m just over here laughing at all the old people who constantly complain about us “younger” people who live in The Villages. Enjoy your extended stay at home as the “younger” generation takes over The Villages. I look forward to being able to get a seat at all the restaurants, bars and most importantly Starbucks. STAY HOME!

Time to stop the fear mongering. If u dont feel safe...stay home. There are many here sick of this lockdown when this area has minimal infection rate |
