TireRack.com, then go to local dealer to have installed, OR go to Wildwood Tire, and get very close to the Tire Rack price with installation.

I would also recommend Costco if you're a member. I just bought tires for our car and they were 20% cheaper than any other place I called.

I bought my last set of tires from Firestone. They were less expensive than Wildwood Tire, Sumter Tire, and the Goodyear store near Sam's Club for top-of-the-line Michelins. Also, they installed the tires the same day, when the others wouldn't. Sam's did not have any tires to fit my SUV.

I first research the tires and highest ratings. Then I shop around for competitive pricing. Hard to be Walmart/sams club. If they don’t have brand they can order them.

When I buy new tires, or even a new car, I always check the DOT number on the side of the tires. The last 4 digits will tell you the week and year that the tire was made. So, "1423" means the tire was made during the 14th week of 2023.

I time it around oil changes. A few weeks is nothing.

That is an excellent answer!

Based on recommendations on TOTV, we started going to Wildwood Tire soon after we arrived here in May 2016 and, since that time, we have been very pleased with the work they have done on our cars.

When we needed some new tires a few years ago, I checked the prices on Tire Rack and they were not much lower than the price at Wildwood Tire, so we bought the tires there.

Personally, we do not want our tires rotated.

Our cars are front-wheel drive and we just let the front tires wear down. Then we have the rear tires moved to the front and get new tires for rear.

Tire rack was $15 more per tire (same brand and model) for my vehicle than either Sumter Tire or Sam’s.

If you are shopping at the retail tire stores, I think that most tire stores will price match a written quote from any of the other stores, except the warehouse clubs.
