What you want is a property plat. If you bought your house new, you most likely received a plat at the closing. So, I would suggest going through those documents first. After that, here are some suggestions:

How To Get A Plat Map Of Your Property

1. Contact your local government office or check their website. Each county is different.
2. Reach out to your title company and request a copy.
3. Go through the paperwork you received when you purchased the home.

I received a pdf set of drawings for my pre-owned home. I don't recall who I received these from, the original owner or the Villages Salesperson who sold me the home.

They appear to be the same drawings that can be purchased from this site:
https://agewave-solutions-inc.square.site/s/shop

Fortunately, mine were provided free of charge.

A quick one semi accurate would be on the county website of your residence. As others have said you should have receive a survey with the home purchase.

Yikes, those web site prices are no joke!

May depend on your county and the age of the house, but I filed a free FOIA request with Sumter county for all building records related to my address. It took them two weeks over Thankgiving, but they eventually sent me all the permits and drawings for my home.

Since I bought new, The Villages included a site drawing and a floorplan in my purchase contract. If financed, the bank likely required a formal survey that you should have gotten a copy of at/before closing, but if you paid cash it's likely no survey was required so none would have been done unless you paid extra for it.

Sumter county office building, ask for a map, give them your email. Takes about a week and it’s free.

People are throwing around words they don't understand and shouldn't be using.

A "Plot Plan" is NOT a "Survey". There is undoubtedly a survey somewhere, that shows your property, but it might not specifically show your lot and dimensions. Neither are a "map".

You probably got a "plot plan" with your closing, The standards for a Plot Plan are different than for a Survey. They're using for different things.

What you need or are asking for, depends on what you need it for.

If like me I wanted to know my property lines in relation to the neighbors cause they did not know and certainly did not want to mow their yard, LOL

If you own a Gardenia model and not on a corner, I can give you a copy of mine. Pretty sure it’s about the same.
