Two weeks ago my wife lost her eyeglasses in a hard black case on her way home from a golf course. We were certain they had fallen from our golf cart onto the cart path. Sadly, we never found the eyeglasses. What we did find was that there is no functioning lost and found in the Villages. There was a possibility that the eyeglasses could have been found in more than 50 possible locations. T
We found lost items in the following facilities, every rec center, every championship golf course pro shop, every championship starter shack, and every executive starter shack !!! We were told that the Hacienda Rec center was actually the Villages lost and found. Apparently this is not true BUT IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE DONE !

Must be just one more thing you didn't know about. It only works if everyone uses it.

We lost an item and were told that the main lost and found for the Sumter landing area is in the building behind Barnes and Noble. We stopped there and the woman pulled out a catalogue where all lost items were listed. This is another spot you can try.

Did you not understand me when I stated that every facility we called or visited, had LOST ITEMS IN THEIR POSSESSION. And had a lot of the lost items for a long time. Wouldn't it be sensible for the Rec centers starter shacks etc. to forward their items to the La Hacendia Center

Did you not understand me when I stated that it would only work if everyone used it?

Call Rec.with your suggestion. Ask for John Rohan and remember to tell him how happy you are that they named the new Regional Rec. Center after him. Like every other poster here, I can change nothing.
