Default More Questions about Homeowners Insurance

Today I was told that since our place may be unoccupied for 3 months or more, we couldn't get insurance. That can't be right! (can it????) We bought in 2007 and didn't have a problem until this year. What do other snowbirds do?

Vacant property can be a problem so you should talk to your broker and see how the problem can be resolved.

My sister in law is buying a home in TV and plans on staying in it off and on during the year and is not going to rent it. She tried with TV Insurance, but could not work it out, so she went with a company arranged by AAA.
