Sometime in the past year there was a speaker from Waste Management @ the POA. He described how all recycle was taken to a facility where it was sorted. His presentation was then published in the POA bulletin. I found it very interesting and informative. After the sort it is then taken to the appropriate facility for the type of materials. He also commented that recycling glass products actually cost them money. He described why they ask for no plastic bags as they clog up the sorting equipment. I tried to find a link but could not find it. Sorry.
