Actually the Daily Sun posted "it could be seen" west of the intersection of 466 and 301 and not at the intersection. The real story should be: If it was a controlled burn....why weren't surrounding counties notified? Why did Sumter County Fire and EMS have to investigate it? Just another situation where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing!

Wesh2 News mentioned the controlled burn and referred to it as it was affecting many counties. Are we sure it was near us?
