Default Where to go to get IDs?

My wife and I bought a house in TV about a year and a half ago but did not move in as we are not yet retired. We had wonderful renters for a year but they are out now. We're going to bring a trailer load of furniture and stuff to our house next week and come back a couple more times wit more stuff before years end and then retire and move in permanently early next year. My main question is, where do I go to get the IDs we need to actually start using the facilities at The Villages? And what do I need to bring to them to show that I belong there? Also, is there any sort of introductory session that tells you about things like garbage collection, mail delivery, etc., that is normally given to new owners which we might have missed?

Thanks in advance for any helpful answers!

Hi, suggest that you contact the main office and get the straight story. If you get it from someone else, it may be a bit skewed. Just a thought, good luck.

984 Old Mill Run is the Villages Community Development District office. It's in Sumter Landing on the 2nd floor. I think you can access the elevator in the breezeway next to Starbucks. That is where you get your ID cards, and they have (or can direct you to) new homeowner information. Their number is 352-753-4508.

No doubt that is good advice. It's just a pain to implement as I work pretty much the same hours as they do. Thanks!

You can call them on the phone to get correct information. You work here? How about your lunch hour? You have to have your picture made.
