Default Where should I donate used items?

We are looking for the best deserving place so we can donate some used items. Is there any other place around besides Goodwill? Thanks.

Centsible Furnishings in the Baylee Plaza heading north on 441 on the left side. They take furniture and household items, but not clothes for donation.

Ye Olde Thrift Shop on 441 heading south past 466 on the right. This is the hospital thrift shop. Takes clothes and household items, but not furniture.

Second Hand Rose on 466 across from Walmart. This is a consignment shop.

Habitat for Humanity will pick up. One of my favorite charities.

Habitat for Humanity doesn't take clothing. We have some women size 6 and shoes size 8.

Another way to give the items away is freecycle.org -- LadyLakeFLFreecycle@yahoogroups.com and TheVillagesFLReUseIt@yahoogroups.com. Most of the time, the people who received items through these websites truly need them and are truly appreciative. On occasion, you get folks who just take because they can or who then sell the items themsevles, but most of the time that is not the case.

St. Theresa's on 301. They are very appreciative of any donations.

I can't figure out why they don't have a Goodwill store in The Villages? Anyone have comments on that - it would certainly do well.

There is usually a Goodwill pick up behind the strip mall behing McDonald's. St. Vincent church on 42 also takes donations as well as the Polish National Church in Bellview.
