Default Where/who are the new TOTV owners?

Will there come a time when the new TOTV owners will introduce themselves to their TOTV members? That seems like the ethical thing to do.

Since the new owner/s have not communicated much with the TOTV Members that live here in "The Friendliness Hometown," how about this new TOTV administration getting friendly?

Just sayin'......What say you, Members?

PS...Or, have I missed the Intro?

I think this thread served as a type of introduction. I am not sure and I may be wrong.

Only knew former owners as "talk host" and "tony".....what do we need to know (other than a name) about the new owner since the members are the forum and ask/answer questions relating to every day life in the villages. jmho

i agree with chuckster, admins only need to be involved when issues need to be addressed, jan and tony only participated to inject controversial posts to increase site hits to maximize their monitization of the site, good for them, they are gone and things can only get better.............gn

Hello Barb,

As noted above we made a brief introduction of ourselves and are here on a daily basis to support the members and the forum in any way possible. If there is ever anything we can do to assist or improve on the site please contact us at either user 'Admin' or via email at TalkOfTheVilages@gmail.com.

There has been much to do behind the scenes with the transition and we thank everyone for their support!

Regards

Kenneth

And I feel really good about how things have been going. I detect a sense of humor, which tickles me...but being the grandmother of a journalist...I would just love to know a little about you. Are you full time or do you have a home here at all, married? I am and happily so please don't think I am flirtin'. Is Kenneth your first or last name and do you golf? Where did you live or do you live...The age that you first began to walk is not necessary.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Must be a "girlie" thing, huh GG? I too was curious about the very same that you question. Hugs, barb1191

Thank you Kenneth for the courtesy of your reply.

Our former owners often were involved in the TOTV commentaries and for whatever reason, I choose to believe they were "friendly folk." Of course there were times when their intention was to "up the anti" but always a pleasure to have their company here on TOTV. Most of us Members, I'm sure, would welcome their continued participation in chatting herein.

Again Kenneth, welcome to the new Owners of "The Friendliest Forum in Town."

Default Just a thought

Kenneth. I am new to TOTV but way back when in the 90s I came across a chat room for seniors called senior net. org. I participated quite a bit then. I believe it was run by a Jewish community group teaching seniors how to operate computers. A few years back, I went to check to see if I could't join the chat again but was told there were no more chats. In fact they were asking for a yearly due. Since chat was the best part of the deal, don't know what the dues are for. I think this came about after I believe the Jewish community was no longer involved. Wonder what happened to all the seniors I knew on the Internet. I think I would be concerned without knowing what the future holds for TOTV.

I agree! He's a wealth of information and a really good guy. I'm glad he moved his operation to TV.

Yorio - Please don't worry as we have no intentions to ever have 'dues' here. Always a free forum for members! The sponsors you see advertising here cover the operating cost. So whenever possible please consider supporting the sponsors who support the site and report anyone trying to self promote for free!
